Millar Cameron is an international recruitment consultancy based in London, United Kingdom. An opportunity has emerged for an experienced and committed Country Manager to join one of our clients, a leading international beverages producer, for their West African operations working in Accra, Ghana.

 Description du poste

Provide and communicate a clear vision, direction and purpose to the organization
Develop strategies and plans that deliver profitable growth
Seek opportunities for investment and business growth
Make solid business and financial investing opportunities that grow the top line and for investments that take costs out of the system
Develop, implement and monitor effective sales and marketing strategies
Work closely with department heads to develop, implement, monitor and control effective sales and marketing strategies and performing a key role in growing sales
Initiate and implement strategies to control and/or reduce cost (material, labor, etc.)
Maximize productivity and efficiency by improving plant operations and distribution network
Work closely with the Board of Directors and senior members of SBC, CBL and MAK
Foster relationships with: various external companies, communities and government officials
Build an effective team based environment and motivate employees
Create line of site and help employees understand their role and contribution
Identify high potential employees and motivate them by providing  the proper career development to succeed  and to meet the changing needs of the business
Comply with company’s set values and standards
Other tasks as required by the job and/or management

 Profil

Personal Requirements:

MBA or degree in relevant field.
Direct company experience in beverage industry, preferably Soft Drinks.
Minimum 8 years experience in General Management in FMCG and manufacturing specifically, with several years at executive level of management within multi-national company of substantial size and turnover.
Minimum 15 years experience in the FMCG industry as a whole.
Experience of living and working in developing countries is essential; Africa experience is highly advantageous.
Full fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Strong time management and organisation skills.

Remuneration:

Competitive offshore salary alongside an onshore package including: accommodation, car, schooling, medical insurance and flight tickets annually
